My Favorite Animaniacs Songs

“Animaniacs” is one of those shows that most of the cartoon community seems to be familiar with, but it was another show that I missed out on growing up. I had been sitting on it for quite a while due to being preoccupied with getting familiar with Nickelodeon and The Disney Channel’s shows the past few years (Fox was the original network for “Animaniacs”). Right around when the new year started, I finally decided to give “Animaniacs” a try. I eventually sat through the entirety of the show, and I gotta say, I freaking LOVE it! Its’ legendary status in the world of animation is well-deserved. One of the many amazing things about this show is the songs. I would go so far as to say that “Animaniacs” has the best songwriting of ANY animated show I’ve come across. Yeah, for real! Therefore, I thought it would be interesting if I made a list sharing some of the best songs the show has ever done. It will include well-known music numbers from the show and others that are just personal

Forgotten Cartoons Ep. 53: The X's

Hey there! It's about time for a new episode of "Forgotten Cartoons"! Today's show was requested by mrskeletonman. I've done two shows requested by him in the past. One was solid ("My Dad The Rock Star") and the other was so-so ("Wayside"). Let's see how today's show holds up. It is called "The X's". "The X's" was created by Carlos Ramos, and it aired on Nickelodeon for exactly one year from November 2005 through November 2006. It has only one season and 20 episodes (38 segments) to its name. The series centers on a nuclear family of four known as the X's. They are all highly trained spies who work for SUPERIOR, a covert agency sworn to defend Earth from evil. An organization called S.N.A.F.U. (short for Society of Nefarious and Felonious Undertakings) led by the evil Glowface is continually trying to cause trouble for the X's and other SUPERIOR agents through their plans to take over the world. In the meantime, the X's must conceal their identity from the outside world but normally

Invincible SUCKS (kinda)

Introduction: This will be a rant on characters from Invincible Comics/Animated Series so bare with me PROBLEMS: Problem 1: Constrained World-building The first issue with Invincible Series is constrained world-building, the example of this is the whole f*cking Universe revolving around Viltrumites and Marks backstory, I get that he's the MC of the story but he makes his WEAKASS team look like cardboard cut-outs instead of being "real" tangible characters, more on this later. What makes Invincibles world-building even worse are the Viltrumites themselves, where they are suppodedly "the strongest race in the Universe" but there's only a handful of them spread across the said Universe. I get they had to be nerfed for plot-sake but what's the point if the whole damn series HAS to revolve around them as the main opp anyways? The biggest example of this is Omni-Man getting rid of Flaxans and Omnipotus being wasted in Season 2 Problem 2: The "Main Character" Syndrome Shortened for "MCS"
